This page describes the personal data processed in Assetnix, the legal basis for that processing, and how long data is retained. Assetnix is operated by Technix AB.
The following categories of personal data are processed in the service:
User accounts synced from Microsoft Entra ID
Display name, email address, job title and department are imported via the organisation's Entra ID connection.
Audit logs
A user's display name and action timestamps are recorded in system and asset audit logs for accountability and security purposes.
Login records
The timestamp of the most recent login and IP address are recorded in the audit log.
Asset assignment history
Records of which user was assigned which asset and when are stored for IT equipment traceability.
The processing of personal data in Assetnix is carried out on the following legal bases:
Art. 6(1)(b) — Performance of a contract
Processing is necessary to perform the IT asset management contract between Technix AB and the customer organisation.
Art. 6(1)(f) — Legitimate interests
Audit logs are maintained on the basis of legitimate interest to uphold security, traceability and accountability.
Active user data
Retained while the organisation is a customer of Technix. Deleted within the agreed wind-down period upon contract termination.
Audit logs
Retained for the duration of the subscription plus a 90-day soft-delete window after contract termination.
Login records
Stored in the audit log and follow the same retention policy as other audit log entries.
As a data subject you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
Right to access and data portability
Contact your organisation's administrator, who can request a data extract via Technix support.
Right to erasure
Erasure requests are handled via Technix support at support@technix.se.
Right to rectification
Contact your organisation's IT administrator to correct inaccurate personal data.
Technix AB acts as the data processor. The customer organisation is the data controller for their employees' data, governed by a Data Processing Agreement (DPA).
